About Us
AdvMotoPros is dedicated to high-quality adventure-touring courses from instructors with high levels of experience. Most of our instructors have at least ten years of experience teaching basic, intermediate, and advanced adventure-touring skills on a variety of adventure motorcycles, including BMW, Harley-Davidson, KTM, Honda, Triumph, Royal Enfield, Yamaha, and many others.
Our goal is to give riders the skills and confidence to ride in a variety of conditions and terrain, and to help eliminate the fear and tension that can occur when taking large motorcycles off road. We focus on minimizing the potential for injury or damage to the motorcycle.
Our Team
Our instructors work hard to make the experience fun and rewarding, and to share our experiences with our clients and welcome them to the adventure community. We love what we do, and hope our enthusiasm spreads to all of our clients.

Rob Day, Founder
AdvMotoPros is founded by Rob Day and other colleagues of his past ten year career as a leader in the adventure motorcycle world. A leader in this niche riding community, Rob spent seven years with a private company as a Senior Coach and Tour Leader. During that time, he trained hundreds of riders and led many tours, both on and off road. These included the Continental Divide, Death Valley, Baja, and many others.
Certifications and Accolades:
- U.S. Motorcycle Coaching Association with certifications for dirt and street. Membership includes a federal-level background check and additional First-Aid/CPR endorsements for cardiac, concussion, and heat related injuries.
- Total Control Training Inc. basic and intermediate riding instructor.
- Harley-Davidson certified Riding Academy instructor. He recently received a commendation from the California Highway Patrol for his continued efforts reducing motorcycle accidents and fatalities while working as the Chief Instructor for Bartels’ Riding Academy.
- Harley-Davidson Pan America product specialist, and has been involved with this project since before the bike was available to the public. He was a lead coach at the Pan America Experience in 2021 in the Mojave Desert, and his team managed the success of the press launch. They also trained Harley-Davidson corporate and dealership personnel how to ride these machines off-road throughout 2021.
Rob continues this work as an independent contractor, working for clients such as Harley-Davidson and motorcycle dealerships across the country. Currently, Rob has trained more riders on the Pan America than any other individual.
